Food is consistently great! Friendly service, clean facilities. When i used to work in West Orange i frequented Pepe's, and we were passing through a few weeks ago i was looking for take out. Pepe's came to mind and it did not disappoint.

I had always known about Pepe's BBQ but I admittedly didn't give them a shot for a long time. After losing my craving for Chinese food, I decided to give Pepe's BBQ a shot to spice up my life and try something different. First off, I am going to say straight away that parking here is BAD. It's a very small parking lot with limited spots so be wary of this, especially during peak hours. I personally ended up calling in an order because I didn't want to deal with the parking. The lady that picked up the phone was very friendly and helpful when ordering. I'm not an expert in Portuguese cuisine at all but she was able to help navigate the menu and answer all my questions. I ended up going for the Fried Fish (Flounder) Lunch Special with yellow rice and vegetables. It also came with a choice of soda or water for a very reasonable total of $12.80 cash. I was very satisfied with the portion size and overall value. The fish was not rubbery and the vegetables were not overcooked. The dish also came with two different types of sauces, one barbeque and one chimichurri. For me, the sauces really helped with the flavoring. OTHER INFO -There is a rewards program. You get 1 point for every dollar you spend. When you reach 100 points, you get $10 off your next purchase. -The lunch special is served until 5pm -If you are not a fan of yellow rice and vegetables like me, there are multiple other options to choose from FiNAL THOUGHTS Pepes BBQ is a local spot in West Orange that has some of the best value in town. I'll be the first to admit that I should have tried this place sooner. For a casual foodie like me, I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

The chicken and ribs were tender and flavorful. The rice and fries were good too. The medium size is enough to share. The portions are generous, and the prices are affordable.

Always get me a good and quick meals. Great portions to feed a lot of people. My favorite is the chicken and ribs combo

We had catered a party for my father-in-law' birthday for 30 people. The food came on time and it was delicious. I would definitely use them again

I'm scanning door dash and boom PEPE'S pops up and boy did I have a treat! The portions were out of this world, the food was still hot and everything was so good. I got the Half order of Rotisserie Chicken and the Beef Rib plate. When I opened the lid I knew it was going to be good it looked beautiful. The chicken was so moist & juicy with a bunch of flavor. It literally fell off the bone the tenderness was out of this world. The Arroz Chaufa rice was the perfect side dish reminds you of an Asian fried rice but you get that Hispanic flair. The veggies were broccoli & carrots I love me some steamed veggies and I had no problem with them at all. The Beef Ribs had a nice grill taste and they were perfectly seasoned. They were firm but had great chew, a perfect cook in my book! I don't know what the green sauce they gave me was but man it was fire, it had a little bit of spice and a strong cilantro flavor. This is a hidden gem that's had to be found by everyone!

This food is very good. Our coworker order it for a holiday lunch! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place.

Had the chicken and pork ribs bbq ... delicious! The ribs are amazing.. and the chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry.

Dinner delivered arrived hot to the neighboring town. Dinner for 4 was 2 servings plus leftovers. The entree portions are large. A variety of sauces come with your order. The food is well seasoned. Grilled chicken was a tad bit dry but the sauce took care of that. Black beans no pork is hard to find in the area. The food is really good. I will order again.
